A Danish coffee table from the 1960s in richly figured rosewood, with a rectangular top, solid edge detailing and tapered legs. The wood’s colour runs from deep chocolate to amber highlights depending on the light — exactly the material quality that made Scandinavian rosewood pieces coveted through the decade. The surface shows light, honest use; structure and joinery remain sound. Proportions are generous without dominating a room: long enough for books and a tray, low enough to keep sightlines open. A centrepiece for seating arrangements that favour natural material over metal and glass.
